Getting into the Race with Self Motivation

<<>>

What are the patterns of highly success sales professionals?

What are they doing differently?

They have the same products and services to sell

They have access to the same material

They sell to the same people

When I studied the top professionals across the world in many different careers and businesses... the patterns became clear. This is what they all had in common

They had a "Positive Attitude"

They had "Written Goals"

They were "Not afraid to fail"... Because they learn from their from their experiences

They "Are Focused" on what is important

They "Ask Great Questions"

You see it does not matter what sales training book you read...even mine or What sales training workshop you attend...even mine...unless you are self motivated you will not reach the potential that you are capable of achieving.

When I developed my new program Sales MOTOvation™I wanted to deliver an advanced consultative, communication, sales training skills program containing "What is really needed to get to the next level in sales achievement."

I focused on the "How, What, Why and When"

What you will find on my site are free tips and techniques to increase your personal and professional effectiveness.

Believe it...or Not!

Do you remember the Ripley's Believe it or Not television series or from the Sunday papers. I was always fascinated with their stories and they always ended with...Believe it or Not!

A key from the top performers is their "Beliefs"

They "Believe they can" succeed no matter the challenge.

In my coaching practice I find a major block is how many people "Believe they can't"

The good news is you have the power to change a "Limiting Belief". Here is what you can do:

Name the limiting belief - Some people believe they "can't present well" or they "can't ask good questions"

Change the word - Can't is made of two words can and not and the first decision is which do you choose..Can or Not?

I can present well or I cannot present well.

Say these two examples out loud and feel the difference it makes on the inside. Saying "Can't" to yourself does exactly that..you can't.

What gets in the way? - List what resources you have and what resources you need

Develop a plan - Resist the thought that change will happen like it does on T.V. It takes time and a commitment.

Take small steps and you will quickly make this new belief yours.

Once you change one limiting belief you now have the skills to create a more successful you.

There is No Reverse in Racing When the Green Flag is Waving!

Have a positive attitude..not having one can result in failing yourself

Be prepared to make mistakes...And be prepared to learn from them

Have realistic goals...Winning the race the first time happens in the movies...not in real life

Commit to "Seat Time"... The more seat time the better you get...this means practice, learn and succeed
